Endpoint Protection

A question regarding Windows 2000 and 2003 and SAV 10.1.4.4000.

On the server I don't see any yellow shield on the system tray.
The Syamantec Antivirus is running well and also I see on the SSC all servers running without errors.

The only issue is the missing yellow Shield.

Do you have any idea or suggestion ?

And also why you are not upgrading 10.1.4.4000 to 10.1.8.8000.

This KB article solved my question.   I've forgotten to mention the server connection through RDP services.

You view the client's desktop through a remote session
The system tray icon is not displayed if you view the client's desktop by using a Terminal Services Remote Administration or Remote Desktop connection. Confirm that the system tray icon is visible on the local client.

Open Symantec System Center --> Right click on the AV Server --> Select "Client Administrator Only". There you will get the option to show managed clients on the taskbar.
