Does anyone know if NOM is supported for Solaris 10 x86 on AMD Opterons?  I have an install that's failing and I think the answer is no, but it was a tad confusing from the docs I read.

Only on x64 from 6.5.4

You didn't say which version, but NOM is supported on x64 from 6.5.4.  Use this CD image:

CD image NB_6.5.4_NOM_Sol_x86_64.zip provides support for the Veritas NetBackup (tm) Operations Manager (NOM) for UNIX Solaris x86, 64-bit servers

I am told you need the Authentication service separately if it isn't already installed.  Get THAT here:

Release Update NB_VxAT_6.5.4 contains fixes and enhancements to the Veritas NetBackup (tm) 6.5 Authentication Service for all supported platforms.

Good luck!
