Not able to create snapshot on NetBackup...

Just want to tell that FS backup are running good but we got a new request to create a Policy and while creating Policy when we say OK to Policy it gives error"Snapshot Policy is not configured correctly but afterwards we say Yes to Policy and initiate the Backup ...it gives the above error....
Please suggest what else needs to be done....

a necessary extension package is not installed or not configured properly (9)
I have gone through the beloe technote but no luck.I am not getting from where i have to install the package or is there any other way from where we can see that the package is not installed.....

Is the policy ksprd172_snap_ir_teamsite mistakenly set to MS-Windows, by chance?
If so, set it to Standard (or create a new Standard policy if Windows clients are also definied in it) and try again.
Problems report for backup shows "ERR - NetBackup libonline_util library not installed: ld.so.1: bpfis: fatal: /usr/openv/lib/libonline_util.so: open failed: No such file or directory."

EDIT: Hmm, your output seems to indicate the policy type IS Standard ("-pt 0") but could you check it anyway and confirm?
Any chance we could get a verbose bpbrm log from you?
Keep in mind, the end of your road may end with someone saying "your client is an end-of-lifed version; you will probably need to update it to 7.x" (Actually, while I'm asking questions: can you please confirm the client is at 6.5 and not 6.0?)

I'm guessing not ... but let us check ...
If it really is missing, we need to confirm if it sould be installed with the core NBU client software, or, if it is included in an additional add-on.
Hopefully Chris might know if this file is included in the core install, I don't have a 6.5.6 system available at the moment to check.
Has this ever worked before ? Can you attach the bpfis log ? Also please note, 6.5.x was end of life in October, you may want to consider to upgrade the client. What version is the Master server ?
NBU 6.5 requires separate installation and patching of Snapshot Client software.
PLEASE upgrade your client to same NBU level as master for 2 reasons:
NBU 6.x has reached EOSL on 3 October.
NBU 7.x client software includes all agents and options.
Have you tested your snapshot method outside of NBU?

Thought it might, but couldn't remember.
Easiest fix is just to upgrade the client to 7.1 - as this will install all add-ons (ther are just controlled via the license).

That would also explain the status 9 if it wasn't installed!
So....really, this should be a 7.x client at this point. :) Why is it still at 6.5.6? Can you upgrade it?
Just FYI: bpbrm log will be on the media server attempting the backup. (If you don't have a separate media server, it's on your master server.) But I think given the latest replies, you already have your answer even though we haven't seen that log yet.
Issue is now fixed...
Don't leave us in suspense! Did you upgrade the client, or separeately install the SNC 6.5 option?
