  • 1.  not able to install sep clinet 12.1.4

    Hi,

    getting an error while installing sep 12.1.4 on windows server,tried using cleanwipe,but same error

     

    Error 1913, When uninstalled the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager, Could not update the INI file D:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.403\bin\isolate.ini

    Any solution for this?

    can you please post the SIS_inst.log. also try to delete the above ini file if it is present in the machine

    Post the SEP_INST.log and SIS_INST.log files here for review.

    Required logs for troubleshooting failed Endpoint Protection 12.1 client installations

    Hi

    Browse the isolate.ini file and right click on it and go to the properties, uncheck the read only attribute and click OK. should fix the issue
