Not able to see the Incident

Hi All ..

There are few incidents for which I cannot see the Incident Details i.e. I can see the incident in the incident list but when i click on it, then all I can see is a blank screen and Im not able to see the Incident Details. I tried opening the incidents multiple times but the problem persists.

Why is this happening ??

what is the version used?

Version of the DLP ? .. it is 11.6

I cannot see the Incident details, it gives me a blank screen.

Hi Muzzami,

Please chcek your role based access setting.

Have you login with Administrator and so that you dont have view rights enable for this role , If you go to the incident responder or investigator you can see the incident details if incident detail view setting enbaled.

I usually log in with Administrator credentials and normally I can see all the incidents.

Hi Muzami,

U can refrer above my thraed for better to understand the reason of this. Still I would like to give you some possible solutions.

First thing Administrator should not have the incident view as per Role Based Access Policy. As you said you had seen those details previously but cant now then ther might be DLP oracle and enforce communication issuee, I recommend you that try to restart the vontu services of Oracle and DLP in respective manner which is mentioned in DLP Admin guide and check. IF still having problem then let me know.

Hi Muzami,

 Usually when it happens to me, it is because of some special caracter in the incident. So i use firefox instead of internet explorer and i am able to see the incident. Check with another browser if that correct your problem.

Mozilla Firefix works with such kind of incidents ..!.. 

I think there is also an Etrack filed for this problem with Internet Explorer .. Hope we get a fix in the next update !
