Notes 7 and SAV10 problem to work together ?
Updated: 23 May 2010 | 1 comment
Hi,
We have 2 Windows 2003 servers :
- one is installed with Notes Domino 7.0.22.7134 + BackupExec agent + SAV10 server
- the other has BackupExec server 11.0 Rev 7170 + SP2 + Hotfix31 to 35 + SAV10 client
when we want to backup mail files on the Notes server we have the following issue :
SAV seems to block the BackupExec agent (see details below) and it freeezes the agent and the Notes server as well
Is it some misconfiguration of SAV or a bug with BackupExec ?
Can i activate some logs to troubleshoot that ?
The even viewer shows the following info when SAV seems to block the agent :

Hi,
Have you troubleshoot this issue ? I have similar installation running for some month and got this problem this morning :
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Symantec AntiVirus
Event Category: None
Event ID: 45
Date: 5/16/2008
Time: 1:28:50 AM
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: xxxxxservernamexxx
Description:
SYMANTEC TAMPER PROTECTION ALERT
Target: C:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\RAWS\belnapi.exe
Event Info: Terminate Process
Action Taken: Logged
Actor Process: C:\Program Files\Lotus\Domino\nsd.exe (PID 4564)
Time: Friday, May 16, 2008 1:28:50 AM
Then it stop the Domino Server..
I don't know if I must exclude "Backup Exec\RAWS\belnapi.exe" or "Lotus\Domino\nsd.exe" from the Antivirus or anything else.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
