Does it show up in add\remove? If so try repairing it from there. I've only applied it on a few servers, but I haven't (knock on wood) had any issues as yet.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for quick response.

There are not in add/remove program so that I cannot repairing it from there.

I think this problem in our server (MS Windows 2003) because although the server have been restart/shutdown, the msiexec process have always appear in task manager and as if autorun itself.

so finally, I have killed all of the msiexec process from task manager and after that appear error message one of altiris process where it promptly OK for Terminate and Cancel for Debug. I was click Cancel and resolve the case. But I need repair NS & reinstall the R8 hotfixes.

I think this is not the best way for resolve the case.

This is a strangest.

Thanks anyway.

rgds,

hendardi

I've applied this hot-fix quite a few times, new install and upgrades, and haven't seen any issues, except with the main documented issue with IT Analytics. There is a workaround for that though.

Hi Jim;

I'm trying to install the worflow solution & designer for evaluation purposes, but i'm having problems with the NS. When I try to install the wf solution i get an error regarding the NS version that is currently installed on mi laptop. As far as i know i haven't installed this application yet.

Anyway, now, I'm trying to download the NS from the site you provided http://solutionsam.com/solutions/6_0 , but i'm getting the "HTTP 403 ERROR - Forbidden" error.

Can you provide some ideas regarding this issue? besides, is there another site or mirror where I can download the latest NS???

thanks a lot

Javier

The correct link is

http://www.solutionsam.com/solutions/6_0/. Without the last / you will get an error.

Hello,

Where is NS R9?

""

In order to continue on with researching the issue with the log files it will most likely be required that you install the R9 to the Notification Server that is having the log file problems. You would also need to install R9 agent to that same server. This is so we can get the debug agent for R9 installed to that computer. If you are unable to install those to the server in question then it will not be possible to continue troubleshooting the issue. Let me know how you would like to handle this.

""

I found a trace : KB43207

Thanks,

Dom,

I personally haven't heard anything about R9, although I've seen articles like this before. All it indicates is that a roll-up is planned (in addition to the obvious release of of NS7). Calling support may get you the hot-fix, if you reference the article.

HTH,

Jim

Hi Jim,

R9 is just in Beta for now, I could get it but how to put on a production server a beta version to allow the support to troubleshoot my issue... This R9 will just provide the tool to troubleshoot the issue but there is no guarantee it will have the fix.

Thanks,

Dom
