  • 1.  Is Notification Server supported on x64?

    Hi there,
    We are embarking on a server consolidation/virtulization project, and I need to know if NS is officially supported on the x64 platform and Server 2008. Knowledge base Article ID: 32977, which is dated 5/2007 says that it is not supported, does anyone know if there is newer information on this?

    Hello Dorothy,
    No, NS itself is not supported on x64, and the new version (7) that will be released this year, will also not initially support a x64 installation. As for 2008, you can manage, but not install NS on server 2008 (as of right now the same goes for v7, when released).
