This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi all,

Up until about a week ago I was getting notifications (i.e. emails) for all new forum posts, all new videos, all new articles, and all updates...  for everything in the Enterprise Vault forum.

It's stopped though.. and I've only had a veryyyyy small number in the last week.

 

Have I broken something? :)

See if they're still there?

1. Click on link: Account (should be a link on this page, just under the yellow bar - look for your avatar)
2. Click on tab: Notifications
3. Click on link: Administer your subscriptions

You can then edit individual subscriptions (again, assuming they're there) and make sure everything's set up as you expect.

If, after all this, things ARE as you expect....it's probably time to talk with the administrator of your personal email server, I'm afraid.  :)  I hope this helps!

There are LOTS there, hundreds (800+), but I can't tell which one is the one which deals with 'new' forums posts, updates to old ones, or the ones where I've replied individually to a topic (and therefore been subscribed).

 

I am getting *some* come through, so I don't think it's an email issue at all (and my email is hosted Office 365, so I think I'd notice if there were wider problems).

hmm, this still isn't working for me.  I'm not getting notifications of NEW forum posts to the Enterprise Vault forum.

 

When I go to notifications -> subscriptions and filter for:

 

Type is Thread

Status is inactive

= nothing returned

 

Type is Thread

Status is blocked

= nothing returned

When I go to Notifications -> Tags, and check 'Products' I see Enterprise Vault, Discovery Accelerator and Compliance Accelerator are all set to immediate.

 

 

Individual forum threads that I reply to... I get those emails alerts when someone else replies.

Rob,

We are working on a couple of different issues with notifications right now -- blank notifications and missing notification included. Please keep me updated if you see anything else that will help us isolate  the problem. I'll let yu know our progress.

The notification email thing is working fine for me as I just reeived an email regadring a thread I subscribed to. The subscription box appears below the thread and even it can be edited from your profile settings.

ok. Thanks for the update on a 4 month old thread :)  Notifications have been working well recently however.
