Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

Is it possible to receive an e-mail when an update is available in Symantec Installation Manager?

Can I create something like a "automation policy" in Notification Server 7....

Or is the solution much easier, am I missing something?

The automation policies don't interact with the SIM in any fashion that I can see.

on kb.altiris.com. You do this on the left side of the screen. That way you get alerted when updates or issues to the related products occur. I find it very useful. As far as the SIM idea, that sounds like a good "idea". You can create one and hopefully if it gets enough votes (you'll have mine for sure), it could become an enhancement.

I will post the idea....I think that more people are missing a feature like this..
