EP 11.0 cannot be installed on Novell Netware. Continue to protect computers running Novell Netware 5.1 SP8, NetWare 6.0 and NetWare 6.5 with the latest legacy version of Symantec AntiVirus 10.1.

    Hi Bingley,

I have SAV 10.1 MR 9 running on my NetWare 6.5 MR8 server now.  It's working without any trouble or difficulty, performing real-time and manual or scheduled scans.

SAV on NetWare is largely controlled through the SSC (Symantec System Center), though there is a basic GUI that can be displayed on the NetWare server itself.

The NetWare section of the following article may help:

Symantec AntiVirus 10.1 Corporate Edition installation walk-through for administrators

    Thanks and best regards,

    Mick
