NS 6 report not exporting all rows?

Howdy all,
Have got some NS6.x reports (in this case Asset Management) that run aok, and report the correct number of rows etc. Have checked them against a direct SQL query, aok.
However if i try to copy the report results to clipboard (using the Copy icon in the report toolbar), the resulting paste is only about a third of the data - seems to occur on multiple reports, so maybe i have a browser (IE8) issue?

IE8 is not supported
IE8 is not supported for NS 6. You should be using IE6 or IE7. Does this make a difference in the behavior?
