  • 1.  NSMessageQueue Table

    Greeting,

    I have a problem with the NSMessageQueue table. It keeps filling up...

    I found this thread from last year:

    The solution listed does work (down to about 1.5GB), but within a few hours, the table is about 9 GB again. I'm basically just running that solution every 30 minutes to keep things in check.

    Can anyone think of a reason this table is bloating like that? What can I do to stop the bleeding?

    Hello Corwin,
    How many clients do you have? What solutions do you have installed? How often do the clients check in? What type of purging do you have enabled? Can you post you Altiris logs from the NS server here (.zip format please)?

    Also, have you modified any of the default system schedules (such as PMImport, scheduled Agent push, basic inventory sending, etc) from their default vaules?
