this upper server can support or not for the NTP component SEP 11.0
If not so what is solution for this.
You should upgrade to latest version i.e SEP RU7 MP3.
Check till date SEP releases.

Latest SEP versions does support Server 2008 R2.

the SEP client should be the lateste version, ofcourse the SEPM should also be upgraded. THe NTP can be enabled.
You should upgrade SEPM and SEP clients to the latest version.

There is no document in symantec stating that NTP is not supported in Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Standard 64 bit.
We have Best practices to install SEP on Windows Servers. however you may face Slow network issues if you install NTP on Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Standard 64 bit.
So kindly Dont install NTP on Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Standard 64 bit.
