    Hi All,

After installing NTP component, machines are going out of LAN. The machines are working fine with Wi-FI but not taking the IP in LAN.

We hadto reboot the machine everytime and the machine comes back on LAN. This is happening espcially on Laptops ( Dell XPS , TOSHIBA Portage 700 and couple of more models as well.

We even installed RU3 clients on these affected machines and issue is there in RU3 as well.

Since it is intermittent, we are finding it very difficult to find the root cause of the issue. Can anyone encountered this and suggest/direct us for a solution.

Also, when we remove NTP component alone, then the machine behaves normal.

    Cheers

    Prakash

I once faced a similar issue, i enabled the "allow UPnP discovery from private ip addresses" settings in the SEP firewall and the issue got resolved. you could try the same and let us know.

suggest to work with technical support, if you are still encountering the issue.

    Hi,

Have you test the same setup without NTP component, and have you find any logs from SEPM after the connection re-establishes.

Also for RCA you can log a case with support.
