odbr w/ ultrium 920 and backup exec 11

Is the hp ultrium 920 and backup exec 11 compatible?
I can't get the odbr to work on my system. I have both of these items installed and have run the idr setup and created a dr file. I have then ran a full backup.
During the reboot i choose f8 which allows me to go into odbr mode. It asks which drive a want (only one available) and it reboots.
It goes through saying its found bootable media and keeps going till it reachs the nic boot and stops. Doesn't do anything else.
Any ideas
