Anyone deployed Office 2010 SP2 yet - looking for some pointers ? How you deployed it - detection rules etc!

I think we're going to let Patch Management handle it this time, but if I were to send this as a Managed Software Delivery, I'd install it on my system first and get the version number of, say MS Word, and use that as my detection rule.

And, as always, with the /quiet /norestart switches! 

I installed this update while I had 3 or 4 Office apps running, and everything went smoothly.  Once the apps themselves were restarted, they showed the correct version numbers.

I've tested with Patch for a few users and so far so good.

Is this a full install or an update? Patch will only do updates that are in the remediation center. Can you clarify a bit on what you are looking to accomplish.

Hi, I see that SP2 is deployable through patch management. At the time I posted I didn't know it was available through that.  Probelm solved. Thanks.
