have a quesiton on this one



how can i verify whom has a specifc piece of the microsoft office installed and/or who does Not have it installed?

Jon,

does Infopath appear in Add/Remove Programs?

If so, there are pre-canned reports to do this. If not, it should show up under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall key somewhere and you could do a custom inventory to capture it.

if still no luck then try looking in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office ....

info path is bundled together with office so it will not show up in the add/remove programs



how do i do a custom iventory for a registry key? sorry i've never done one for the registry key(s)

You can create custom inv for reg keys, ini files, or files...
