Offsite backup status not available, throttle non functional

Created: 17 Oct 2013 • Updated: 01 Nov 2013 | 2 comments
This issue has been solved. See solution.

I've tried to use offsite backup, but it overloads the network. There's a "throttle" function but that only works for the normal backup.  The "progress and performance" window only works for the normal backup also.

I guess the workaround would to quit using offsite backup feature - and set up a normal backup procedure. Too bad.

...if you were using something like optimized dedupe and duplicating the deduped data between sites you would see some sort of bandwidth saving. Not sure how much, and I would assume this differs with the amount of data being backed up initially.

Thanks!
