I am getting so frustrated with Symantec that I am thinking of starting to look for other solutions, now when I go to DL from the FileConnect, I wanted to DL and test SEP 32 Bit for Windows 7, and I AM TAKEN TO AN ORACLE PAGE?!?!??

COME ON, WHY are there so many issues lately? I don't know if I am wrong or just not being patient, or just not following through, but I am so frustrated with Symantec, and NOW THIS, what is GOING on? This in infuriating!!!!

I know some changes were recently made to FileConnect in regards to the layout.

However, I know you need Java to do the download. Perhaps this is why it is popping up? Do you have Java installed? If not, try installing it.

Yes, the most recent version(s) and I tried this with FireFox AND IE 10.

I have more gray hair than ever, what's left of it.

IE is really the only one that works for me. I've tried other browsers but just gave up and use IE. Will it let you download or does it go right to the oracle popup window?

Check the virus012 comment and attachment

This error has came because you have tried to download the file using google chrome/mozilla, use the internet explorer. I have currently tried the same step using google chrome and getting the same error.

After that i had tried to download using I.E and download completed succesfully.

    So try in IE.

    HI,

It may be the Java comparability issue.

    Check on different browser.

    Regards

The download manager on the symantec fileconnect ( https://symantec.flexnetoperations.com/control/symc) requires Java - if it is not installed for the current browser you are using it will redirect to the Java website for download.

I gave up and just copied it from work. It's not a fix, but it's a "work around"
