Hi,

Your media set that targets the dedu.pe folder has a retention policy assigned to it. You need to see what this retention time is. If the data has been expired from the dedupe folder, and unless you duplicated to tape or another disk storage location, then your data is gone!
It would very well be that your catalogs and job history are retaining that information for longer than you should be.
