Hi all, I have a SEPM 12.1.671.4971 and I need to install sep client on Win 2012. From what I found this ver of SEPM dosent support Win 2012. Besides upgrading is there anything else that can be done? install newer ver of sep client?

You need to download the latest client and import into SEPM.

Use this article to do the import once you've downloaded the latest client:

Manually import client packages into Endpoint Protection Manager

Then you can export the latest package and install it. The older SEPM version will still be able to manage it.

yes, you can simply download the latest verion of sep client from fileconnect and install it directly on that win 2012 client. If needed you can simply import the sylink file from your existing SEPM to make it managed.

Note: Though it is supported to have lower version of SEPM supporting higher version of SEP client. it is recommended to install/upgrade your SEPM as that of your client version, so that all the newer features are supported.
