Hello All,

Not sure if this has been answered in some other post, however, as I did not find it anywhere posting it:

Do we have a location something like solutionsam from where we could download older versions of SIM, e.g. SIM 7.1.

I would need to perform a install of CMS 7.1, however, when tried installing it by selecting CMS 7.1 from the product listing of SIM 7.5 that I downloaded from trialware page of CMS on Symantec site, it gave me many errors and ended up finding that few SMP files in the installation are of 7.5 which ideally should have been of 7.1. Hence, wanted to do a clean install of CMS 7.1 and if possible would like to do it using SIM 7.1.

Any guidance / reference would be of great help.

you can check with customer care for old version to be uploaded on fileconnect

If I continue to use the latest SIM, would it be possible to install CMS 7.1 from there, if yes, what should be taken care of?

If you select the show all available versions  in the 7.5 SIM also, you can able to download all the older versions of the 7.1.

Yes, I saw the check box later and then had selected the check box following selected an appropriate version and fortunately it has completed successfully however, with an on box SQL.

We have started an install of Altiris CMS 7.1 SP2b with off box SQL. Hoping for that to complete as well.
