  • 1.  One Live update server for both SCS and SEPM servers

    We have two symantec servers in our network , One running SCS 3.1  and other running SEPM11MR4 .  Now we have provided two network connections to both servers (one each) for live updtae. SEPM clients are set to get update from SEPM and scs clients are set to get updates from Primary server.

    Now I want to setup a LIVE Update server On SCS 3.1 server which can provide updates to the scs 3.1 primary server and SEPM server also.

    Is this possible if yes then how to do this.

    yes. The liveupdate administrator can provide definition to many products.

    You need to configure LU amdinistrator to download definitions fro SCS and SEP. There should not be any issue LU server being source for SEP and SCS.
