    We are now approx 70 branches which are having 5000 clients, will it be possible to manage with single server or it required another and how to manage clients?

    Hello,

    Yes you can managed sep client.

    Also you can create GUP per site for update virus defination.

    Yes you can able to manage it with single server. For remote site you can create the GUP Server which can update the defintion on remote clients locally. Above link helpful to you. Note - If the clients count is more than 5000 then use the SQL DB.

    Yes Possible.

    Just plan the Disk space accordingly. for 5K i would suggest to use SQL instead of build in Embedded.

    Hi,

    Embedded database support upto 5000 clients per SEPM

    With the SQL database SEPM can support upto 80,000 clients per SEPM.

    You have 70 remote branches then I would suggest to have Group update provider (GUP) at each location.

    Basically if you configured GUP then clients will not cross the WAN link to take definitions update from Central management server.
