  • 1.  One-time disable autologin to Windows without changing policies?

I have included in the SEE policies autologin to Windows after entering username and password in the Pre-Windows Startup.

How to stop login process at the Windows logon window? Is there a way to one-time disable autologin to Windows without changing policies?

Yes, you can using the Autologon policy under GP. This is only with the version of SEE 8.0.0

    1. Under Computer Configuration, expand Software Settings

    2. Expand Symantec Endpoint Encryption

    3. Under FullDisk , highlight Autologon

    4. Click on change these settings and select "Do not require user authentication to the SEE"

Now this will disable the Pre-windows authentication.

Thanks M_Marcos, but this is not what I'm looking for.
I do not want to permanently disable Pre-Windows Authentication but only temporarily disable the autologin to Windows without changing GP.

    Maybe badly explained :)

    Suppose this scenario:
    - autologin is enabled by GP
    - user logs on to the Pre-Windows Authentication and SEE automatically logs in to Windows
    - user want to log in Pre-Windows Authentication, but stop on the Windows GINA without logging into Windows. For some reason want to do it only once.

Is there a switch, a keyboard shortcut in Pre-Windows Authentication to disable automatic logon to Windows (once, not permanently)?
