Online Backup (beta) and Hard Drive encryption

Is there any information about using the on-line backup tool and an encrypted hard drive (in my case PGP).

I let the backup process run for almost an hour, and nothing ever uploaded. I think this is mainly a knowledge gap on my part, but I didn't see anything in the documentation that could answer this for me.

(Vista SP1, 32bit, PGP Whole Disk Encryption, 9.x).
