Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition

Dear All ,

i have windows server 2008 x64bit R2  installed endpoint protection manager 11.0.6100.645 DataBase on another server SQL2008 R2 x64bit ,so

everythink is ok on client have :  windows 2008 R2 x64 bit , and windows xp x32 .

but on client have windows 7 x64bit not recived update from SEPM .

please help me thanks in advance .

check if the client is communicating with the server, open sep client interface, click on help and support

click on troubleshooting, do u see the server name or is the server offline? 

if its offline , turn off the windows firewall on both the server and the client.

ya i am check if the client is communicating with the server and it is ok .

and i see server name , and all firewall on client and server off ..

so this issuse only on client have windows 7 64bit !!!!!!!!!

Is the SPC having trouble obtaining 64-bit definitions?

Admin > System > Show LiveUpdate Downloads

Look at the revision dates for Virus and Spyware definitions Win64 11.0.

go to add/remove programs

and try to make a repair of SEP Client.

click on start -run

type luall.exe check if that updates fine.

another server ( Windows Server 2008 R2 X64 bit ) installed client version : 11.0.6100.645 , and seems good update from SEMP without any problem , only windows 7  x64 bit ver can not updated from SEMP ,

so  luall.exe is fine on client windows 7 x64 bit i dont have any error , but still symantec client definitions are too old .

what is the version of internet explorer?

Beta 9? 

check the other clients IE version which are updating fine..downgrade to same level and check..
