  • 1.  Option missing in SAV 10.1.6.6010

    Hi guys,
    I am facing problem that is hard for me to solve as I also don't have so much to spend on it.

    Problem : When I open SAv GUI I should see:
    SAV
       View
       Scan
       Configure
       Histories
    ...............

    the problem is that I cannot see Configure submenu, but a colleague of mine in the same Client group see it.

    My Pc is part of a domain ( because I think this problem is related to User access level/ credentials )
    OS : Win2k

    Any idea what permissions should I have to see it ?

    Open your SSC
    on the file menu tab.

    You will have SSC options.
    Select that.
    In that option , you should find something called " Allow direct configruation of clients" ( not able to recall)
    now restart the SAV services on your PC
    you should have it now.
    Post a Screen shot if possible.

    Hi,
    thanks a lot for the guidances. The problem seems to depend on domain permissons level. I logged on anoher machine with my domain ID and the picture is the same - so the problem seems to be on domain level.
    I'll keep you posted if I found a resolution
