Ghost Solution Suite

So after doing some searching on this forum. I see that many people are having problems with the Dell Optiplex 960 and the Dell Optiplex 755. Has anyone gotten Ghost ghost to restore an image in a reasonable amount of time. It's taking me up to two hours to restore an image.

This is what I have done so far

1. created a winpe cd with Intel 82567 from here....

2. up dated the bios to A08

3. added the SATA drivers from here...

It's still taking an hour and a half to image a computer. Downloading to other DeLL models is no ploblem.

Ghost defaul.ts to multicast; have you tried unicast? The issue I ran into w/ the 755s is when one is shutdown on the same subnet they go REALLY slow when multicasting. My guess is that it has something to do w/ the Intel AMT management, but I could never proove it.

I don't have any 960s but I would first try unicast, then try different NIC drivers. You'll figureout the problem.
