Hi;

I tried to backup Oracle database using backup Exec following these steps:

1- I installed Backup 11d exec with Oracle option.

2- I installed the remote agent on the Oracle database server.

3- I configured the remote agent on oracle server.

I created some new tables on the database and I inserted some records into them. After that, I ran the backup job successfully then I dropped some of the tables that I created before. When I try to run a restore job, the job runs successfully and smoothly but the tables I created before are not restored.

Both the servers of backup exec and oracle database are windows 2003. the oracle version is 10g production database. The archive log mode is enabled. The Backup Exec version is 11d Rev 7170 with Hotfixes 3, 5 and 4 installed.

Are there any other requirements?

Anyhelp would be appreciated.
