Which Windows version?

Which Oracle version?

Did you confirm compatibility? http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH126904

Was NetBackup Client Service logon account changed to Oracle user account with local admin rights?

Sometimes Oracle services need to be restarted after NBU installation or upgrade. Have you tried that?

W2008....

Is UAC disabled?

I have seen UAC causing 'weird and wonderful' issues.

Other than that - no other ideas! Sorry.....

Hi Marianne,Wr,

Thq so much for the support.

we have reloaded the orasbt.dll using from another server(Which has same set up with in the domain).

and renamed the existing ora.dll and moved to another temp location.

So, does it mean backups are now working?

I have honestly never needed to do any of this at any of our customers in 14 years of working with NBU....
