This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi,

Did anyone here ever experience a successful backup yet we can't see the control files on the restore tab? We are using tape for backup. We already tried the "catrebuilder" but nothing happened. Been troubleshooting for almost 3 weeks now. Hope someone can help us with this. Thanks

have you tried running a backup that will store the backup to disk and check the restore tab again?  try to repair the database using the backup exec utility on the program files.

Yep, I actually run 3 jobs

Yep, I actually run 3 jobs for it, on my first job I was able to see the control files, on the second run it didn't show anything and on the third run as I re-run the first job, i was able to see the control files again. In addition, a lot of alerts comes out both on the said server and my primary server with regard to the ODBC error.

Uninstall - Install the

Uninstall - Install the Remote Agent for Oracle on that particular secondary server and try to run backup. that's the best thing to do now.
