Can we have any artical to install ORACLE 11 g for DLP 14.5.

This installation is for Two tire deployment.

One server for enforcer and oracle on single server.

As part of the files you download from FileConnect there is a zip file of all the documentation.  Under that there is a PDF called "Installation and Upgrade of Oracle."

Follow that document STEP BY STEP or it will go wrong

actuly some of step was wrongly mentioned there

got installed it but took too much time to do R & D

hello,

 following documentation is always the good way to do and report bugs / errors in documentation to symantec support (documentation is also part of DLP package and it is supported as software)

Here is main steps :

- install oracle software

- create account using script available in DLP package (this will also add all necesaary privilege)

- create a tablespace named LOB_TABLESPACE (the name must be this one)

 of course this does not take into account all necessary action usually performed when installing a DB like correct sizing of all tablespaces (in DLP biggest one will be LOB_TABLESPACE as it will stored all incident and their content), user managerment, HA,..........
