Hi all.  We have a 5 node Oracle 10g RAC and are trying to back it up with Netbackup 6.0MP6 via RMAN scripts.

Simple question really.  Is there any way to run the backup on a node other than the primary node?  For example we specify the clustered name in the netbackup policy but because of some processes that the vendor has configured only to run on the primary node as well, its impacting the backup speeds tremendously (processor is pegged).  I wouldnt mind loosing the HA of backing up the clustered name instead of a node's dns name. I just dont know if this would be possible in a RAC.
