Thanks for the support .

Error bpbrm ( pid = 4890 ) from client oradbsrv : ERR - Script exited with status = 1 <the requested operation was partially successful>

please post the bphdb from the client, it looks like some script issue..

does it ever successfull ?

The script created an output file.
Please post this output file as the above job log only tells us that the script failed. Not why.

The output file will hopefully contain more info.

Hello Cappino,

Is it a new configuration?

did it run anytime successful?

RMAN-03009: failure of allocate command on ch00 channel at 12/05/2013 10:32:33
ORA-19554: error allocating device, device type: SBT_TAPE, device name:
ORA-27211: Failed to load Media Management Library
Refernce link:
http://www.dba-oracle.com/t_ora-19554_ora-27211_failed_media_management_library.htm

for the above errors,it generally can happen  when libobk.so is not linked properly.

If it is new configuration and unix flavoured client ..did u complete the linking?

Please post us more details along with the dbclient and bphdb log as requested

Did you follow the steps in the manual to link NBU with Oracle?

NetBackup for Oracle Administrator's Guide http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC5175

Links to other versions of NBU documentation can be found in 'Handy NBU Links' in my signature.

I'm sorry for this delay!

I have resolved this case, creating a symbolik link in the $ORACLE_HOME/lib.

Below the command used:

ln -s /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/libobk.so64 libobk.so
