I've recently installed version 7.0 of Altiris and I'm now at the point where I'm lost.
I've used version 6 to create packages, but the packages I create in 7.0 aren't working either through a pushed software delivery or through the software portal.
I'm consistently getting Failed -1073741819 for packages created from a setup.exe file, while my .msi packages seem to be working fine (so far).
I'm beseeching the community to point me toward a tutorial for those just starting out with this product that can show me how to create packages from scratch, and some best practices.

Also for your failed message, try running as system if you are not already.

Screenbert, where is the
Screenbert, where is the setting to run as system in Altiris 7?
I create a package under Software>Software Catalog>Deliverable Software, but I don't see any option to set the credentials for the install to run under.
