OWA and EV external access

Hi,
I have EV8 deployed with OWA 2007. Internally on OWA https://webmail.internal.com I can open arvhived email, archive explorer and search archives without any issues.
However when I access OWA from my external address ( no isa just natted on firewall to cas server) https://webmail.external.com I can open archived email ok, but when I try to open "archive explorer2 or "search archived" it tries to connect to internal address "evserver.internal.com" which fails as there is no way to resolve that name externally.
Is there anyway around this?

What essentially means that you will have to publish your EV server, too, for AE/Search to work.
(And then use external webapp url)

Thanks guys for help, just a little confused
My current setup is as follows...
I have setup an URL internal and external on my network of https://webmail.domain.com . So whenever a user internal or external browses that address they get directed to one of our two cas servers. I have set a redirection on the cas servers so that they never have to type in the /OWA and end of address
So is this redirection going to cause me an issue?
What should I put in the "External web application URL"? should it be https://webmail.domain.com/enterprisevault ?
Do I need to publish any DNS externally, or is https://webmail.domain.com sufficient?
