I setup a new computer and installed DSAgent and the NS Client. I can see the computer in NS but when I go to Configure ---> Package Server ---> Package Server Setup and try to add it in the collection it can't be found. I removed the NS Client and removed the computer from NS and re-added the NS Client. I can do a search for other computers on the network and I can see them to add them. Any Ideas.

This is really an NS question, but the issue is the OwnerNSGuid is incorrect. Try deleting the client record from NS (leaving the agent install intact), and then letting forcing the client to check back in.

Sorry about that I can post it over to the NS Group. I removed the Client from NS and I did what I thought was an update from the Altiris Agent Details page but it hasn't shown back up yet.

Check to see if the computer isn't retired or otherwise marked as inactive. One way is go to the resources tab, resources, defaults, computer and sort by status.

Ok I found the rest of the workstations under our Organizational Structure ---> Domain and so on. I moved the computer that I want to be the package server in to the same group. Still no change. Now the other twist is that we use a Microsoft ISA Server and I found Articles 41982 and 41860 about editing keys in the altiris\communications. I made that change and even uninstalled ISA Client. But I can find other computers to add to the Package Server Group.
Any thoughts.
