    Hi,

    In SMP 7.1 sp1

Computers that will be used as site servers with package server installed. The process of adding a computer as package server in the SMP will install IIS? if it is not the case IIS should be installed in the computer before installing the package server?

Is there a best practice document about installing package servers?

    Thanks

    Ruben

For Windows XP, you can just roll out the site services components from the Site Server Settings page after clicking 'Add New.'  It'll take care of all the requirements.  Keep in mind you're limited to 10 concurrent TCP/IP connections in Windows XP, so you're limited in the size of site you can serve when using a Windows XP computer.
