Who has succesfully packaged Microsoft CRM client 4 with the rollup packages?

I tried

But I get a stupid error that the file already exists.
When i rename the file it asks me for the file.
Looks like Microsoft.

Which file?
Run Process Monitor within the layer to see where it finds it.

I got it to work

I got it to work. The simple solution is to capture with svs 2.1.3064.
Do not ask me why it worked. It did.

Maybe the installer uses junction or reparse points?

Thanks for answering. I got the ”thin” client to work with 2.1.3064, but the offline client needed SP3 of SQL Express, and I never managed to virtualize that one.

SP3 of SQL Express

sql express can be done with 6.1.4063.
Don't use this version in a live environment, as it creates long login times, but it is great for packaging.
