Packaging Workflows Adds to File Size

This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi noticed that when packaging a workflow the file size increases each time you do a package. For example if I have a project called Workflow-Demo that's 1.5 MB and I package it that file size stays the same. If I make some changes and package it again the package file goes to 3 MB and up another 1.5 MB with each package after that. Can a Symantec employee please let me know this behaviour is happening and why it's not just writing over the existing data but actually adding to it? I'm on WF 7.1.1401.59.

Quick question... are you moving the previous .package file "away" from the project directory before packaging again?

I think package files might be getting included in the "new" package. In other words, packaging might just zip EVERYTHING up at the project level, including packages.

You're right, I didn't remove the original package from the original packaging so it just kept accumulating but I thought it would just overwrite the .package file. Thanks for the help.
