Pass-through authentication in Service Desk 7
Hello,
We have an SD7 up and running, and we connected it to the Active Directory after the installation.
Having read the documentation, I thought that we could use pass-through authentication on the AD accounts, like on the Helpdesk 6.5.
Actually, when an AD user connects the process manager page, there is an Active Directory animated logo, but the application still asks credentials.
(we have imported the AD accounts in the SD database). Is there a way to use a real pass-through authentication with Internet Explorer?
If not, it would be bad news, because it was one of the most apreciated features of the Helpdesk 6.5.
Any help or comment is welcome.

Did you add your new SD7
Did you add your new SD7 server into the "Local Intranet" zone in the IE of your users workstation?
Thank you for your answer,
Thank you for your answer, PeeGee.
Yes I did.
My Service Desk server is in my Intranet list.
And I connect my server with its NetBIOS name. (hppt://server/processmanager)

If it is a new server check
If it is a new server check the settings in IIS6, Windows 2003 SP1 and later disables pass-through authentication by default.
Check this in IIS 6:
1.
Click the Directory Security or File Security tab, and then, in the Authentication and access control section, click Edit.
2.
In the Authenticated access section, select the Windows Integrated Authentication check box.
3.
Click OK twice.
