  • 1.  Patch detection not working MS15-082

    Hi,


    after rolling out the patch MS15-082, just a half of oure clients report the installation as sucessfully.


    Also the patch MSWU-1104 makes some trouble.


    First time the installer runs, it ends with 3010. It seems to be ok.


    But at the next update schedule, the installer runs again and again and again.


    The exit code is 2359302.


    I've checked the detection rule. The file %widir%\system32\aaclient.dll will be check. The required version isn't installed.


    The file is read only. Just the trused installer has rights to change the file.


    The problem exist only with our technical system (autodesk products installed)


    At the office Systems the file aaclient.dll does not exist. The installer finished with 3010.. OK


    Any help or ideas would be appreciated

    3010 means "reboot required". 

    Cause

    2359302 is a Microsoft code that signifies the patch has already been installed.


    As Patch does not see the updates as being installed because the system is pending the reboot and therefore not completed, the Patch agent may attempt to install the update again.
