    Hello all,

I'm wondering if anyone can offer some advice.  With all of the problems addressed in the latest patching cycle, it seems like one may want to break the normal cycle and push these updates more agressively than normal.  In doing so, I would also expect this person to want ONE reboot prompt after all of these policies were acted upon.

If you were to designate a patch policy run once, there is no way to work with the rebooting of the workstation right?

    Thanks

    Hello there-

You can set up multiple cycles or "Installation and Restart" policies to help here.  To do this, you can start by cloning the out of the box policy.  You can do this by going to Settings > All Settings > Agents/Plug-ins > Software > Patch Management > Windows -- and then clone the Default Software Update Plug-In Policy

You can specify your "reboot" settings in either the default policy or the the custom policy you create.  In addition to your selection, you can specify your reboot handling within the Notification tab of those policies.
