  • 1.  [Patch Management] How does it work?? Initial configuration??

    Hello everyone!

    I'm working on a POC for Client Management Suite. Now, i'm taking over the part of Patch Management. I have read the user guide, watch a couple of videos from this forum, but i cant really understand how it actually works. 

    Could anybody explain me:..

    What's the initial configuration???

    How it actually works??

    Any videos or how-tos??

    In the console go to Home > Patch Management.

    Start with Windows > Settings > Remediation, then Installation and Restart then Metadata Import task.

    Then check the "Run System Assessment Scan" settings.

    Then you'll need to wait until the patch metadata downloads before you can go to "Bulletins and Updates" and right click on each bulletin and select "Distribute packages" to get a wizard where you can select which updates you want to distribute and a Target. There are quite a few good KB articles.
