Hi there,

Due to several issues with PMS mentioned in the AKB #46144 I need to apply the fixes mentioned in that article.
The issue is: we have installed NS on a different path than the default. It is D:\Altiris\..
The patch wrapper mentioned in the AKB (version 4) checks only for the default location of NS. Testwise, I executed the wrapper..and the combined patch did not install. There was no error message.

Therefore, I am planning now to execute version 3 of the combined patch.
-Are there any issues I might expect when I would use v3 of the patch instead of v4?
-Has anybody expirienced any issues with these fixes?

with success. However, looking at the notes I see this "The batch wrapper checks for the existence of the aexconfig.exe file in the default location ('Program Files\Altiris\Notification Server\bin') for the c, d and e drives". I do not see where it says it must be in the default location.

I have sent detailed feedback on the kb, asking for some clarification.

However, I have successfully applied both v3 and v4 on two separate installations. If you are still having issues, I would contact support.

I have successfully applied v3 on our server. There are no issues sofar.

Applying v3 of the combined patch Fixes for PMS was successful.
