    7 hours and 45 minutes when it has nothing to either import or delete?

    Something seems very wrong here. Anyone got a clue?

    This night it took 9 hrs and 12 mins with no changes.

    do you have "Disable all superseded Software Updates" option enabled?

    How many software update policies do you have created? How many updates do they include?

    I have a similar scenario.  We have a fairly large number of patch policies (we limit to 50 patches max per policy and also split out by vendor, month, etc.).  Would the large number of policies, even if most are disabled, cause the import to be slow?

    Run the import task once with the "Incremental Import" option unchecked.

    Make shure to have the option "Disable all superseded Software Updates" unchecked.

    Did that, it tok 6 hrs 43 minutes.

    Can I go ahead and recheck the options again?

    The process now takes anything from 1.5 to 2.5 hrs which works. But I still  think its a huge ammount of time for doing nothing.

    This is incremental download with "Disable all superseded Software Updates" unchecked.

    Don't know if this is the normal state for everyone else? If so then we can close this thread but if not I'd like some more advice on what to check.

    @Sebaha: There is nothing strange in the logs.

    Can you try deactivating "Automatically revise Software Update policies after importing patch data"?

    I just had a case with a similar patch management issue.
