  • 1.  patch reboot notifications do not display

    hey guys,

     

    I setup the patch policy to display notifications when the pc requires a reboot, but the notifications never popup.

    I confirmed that the machine is only apart of one policy.

    i checked the registry and the logs and both state the machine requires a reboot, but the popup never appears.

    added a screen shot of the log to show the notification actualy gets triggered on the machine.

    any suggestions would be a great help

    Hello,

    First of all I would like to confirm what version of Patch Management Solution do you have?

    Also may I ask you please to attach a screenshot from "Notification" tab from Default Software Update Plug-in Policy?

    Finally, what schedule is specified in the software policy you are trying to install (I'm referring to the software policy which should call the popup in your scenario)?

    hi there Dmitri

    it's working now.

    iv'e added screenshot for anyonelse that comes acroos this.

    but the things i changed was in the advanced tab, i added a end date.

    the update policy ran every hour, i changed it to run every 2 hours i think it was clashing with my notification policy because they ran at the same time....
