    Hi All,

i'm looking for SQL Query to get the patch deployment Status. Here is my senario.

    Altiris 7.1 SP2 - SMS

we have aroud 1500 Servers, we have grouped them in three different group(OU) as Group 0 , 1 and 2

    Group 0 contains 200 Servers

    Group 1 contains 500 Servers

    Group 2 contains 800 Servers.

    real game beings now.

I have deployed around 30 windows updates to Group 0 and Group 1 Servers only.

Now, i would like to get the deployment status for Group 0 and Group 1 alone.

but in console the Compliance reports, shows for all the updates against all the servers.

please help me to create sql query to check the deployment status for Group 0 and Group 1 alone.

only after submitting the Group 0 and Group 1 results, i will be allowed to deploy for Group 2 Servers.

    Hello,

You may create custom filter that includes computers from Group 0 and Group 1 and then apply this filter to Compliance report.

In order to apply filter to Compliance report:
    1. open Compliance report
    2. click on "Filtered by:"(please see attached screenshot)
    3. select your custom filter
    4. click OK

    Hope this helps,
    Roman

You'll have to use the Windows Compliance by Bulletin report (Reports > Software > Patch Management > Compliance > Windows Compliance by Bulletin).  Then click 'Windows Computers with Software Update Plug-in Installed' and replace it with the custom filters you created for your server groups.

You'll need to look at each of the bulletins in the list.  You may need to Save As > Spreadsheet and then delete rows not associated with a bulletin you approved as part of your policy (since you aren't deploying and approving all bulletins).  Unless, of course, the release date start/end filter will help.

    Does this help?
